SAVe:
SAVe: stands for functional and traffic safety in automated and networked driving. In German: Funktions- und Verkehrs-Sicherheit im Automatisierten und Vernetzten Fahren.
In this project we develop the methodology for a virtual test field with our partners from the region using the example of Ingolstadt.
Our vision is to create a virtual test field for automated and networked mobility in urban and rural areas.
We develop methods for virtual design and testing in automated and networked driving (AVF). In addition to technical questions, we also answer important social questions.
In the final development stage (follow-up project) we want to create a real-time capable overall model for the planning and control of urban and suburban mobility as well as a complete test field for Urban Air Mobility (UAM).
This model is at the same time a "virtual sandbox" for the development and testing of services (mobility and more) in urban space.
